Meet Our Practice Team


Practice Manager – Sally-Anne Pike

  

Sally is responsible for the strategic management, financial management, staff management, organisation and smooth running of the practice. She has worked for the practice for many years.

 

Sally works with all patient groups and she is also the person to contact for any patient problems or complaints.If you should you have any comments or suggestions on how we can improve our services then please contact her.

 

Sally is available at the surgery Monday to Thursday. Appointments to see her can be made via Reception or contact her on (01604) 876314 or email her at: danescamp.K83610@nhs.net

 

Research & Academic Manager – Nula Smart

 

Nula undertakes a wide range of administrative duties supporting the GPs and Practice Manager. Nula is responsible for the implementation of the Practice Research and is also administrative support to all our Registrars and Medical Students.

 

Danielle Fergusson - Prescription - Admin Clerk

 

Danielle is responsible for maintaining the Practice Prescribing Policy and Medicines Management Operating Procedures. Danielle also deals with all Patient and Pharmacy queries and is available to speak to Monday - Friday 08.00 14.00. 

 

 

Practice Secretary – Lee Clayson

 

Lee deals with all general correspondence and referral letters to other health care providers. In the first instance any queries for her concerning letters etc are best addressed to Reception on 01604 709426.

 

Notes Summary Clerk - Laura Walker and Jan Smy

 

Laura extracts data from a new patient's medical records received from previous medical practices and enters data onto our clinical computer system for the GPs to work from. 

 

Head Receptionist: Tina Wood

Is responsible for our Reception Team.

 

Reception Team:

Helen Harrison, Jill Shears, Hannah Lindop, Samantha Sweet, Gillian Dalton, and Carita Macarno

 

They look after the reception desk, assist patients on the telephone, book appointments, deal with repeat prescriptions and related queries, scan documents into our computer system, file records and deal with medical reports.

 

They do a very stressful and demanding job. Please remember that if you are asked for information by the practice staff they are carrying out the practice policy, which is aimed at making the practice run smoothly. We will not tolerate any abuse of any of our practice staff and operate the NHS Zero Tolerance Policy towards any patients who engage in doing so. All of our administration staff are bound by the same strict rules of confidentiality as the medical staff. They receive training in their role throughout their time with the practice. We are closed on one afternoon per month to allow this training to take place either here at the surgery or centrally in conjunction with other local practices.
